Created in the 1940’s in collaboration with Pablo Picasso these creamy, lipstick-like pastels are rich in pigment, cover well, and have outstanding opacity and lightfastness. They may be thinned with turpentine and worked with a brush, are acid-free and can be applied to any surface. They are made with top quality pigments, an extremely pure synthetic binding medium and mineral wax. The pigments are ground with an inert, non-siccative binding medium that does not oxidize, ensuring stability of film and surface. The balance of this mix results in a creamy texture that invites broad strokes and freedom of expression. The high pigment content results in high coloring and covering potential and excellent brightness.
Gallery profile (1 1/2 inch deep) canvases ranging in sizes from 12×24 up to and including 24×24.

AP Nontoxic, nonflammable and with no harmful odors, Turpenoid® Natural is safe for artists of all ages and will not irritate skin. It will effectively clean and gently recondition brushes and rinses out with plain water. Turpenoid® Natural may also be used as a medium within recommended guidelines.
Masking Fluid is made from pigment and latex and can be painted on paper and over dry washes of watercolour to preserve layers which can be revealed later. It has a slight yellow tint to make it easy to see, but it should be removed as soon as possible to avoid staining.
