Linda Hoult is a Saskatoon-based expressionist acrylic artist who has taken numerous classes and lessons over the years. She is grateful for many opportunities to showcase her work, primarily around Saskatoon and in her hometown of Biggar, Sask. Last spring, while exploring local greenhouses, Linda felt drawn to the beauty, color, and sense of calm she experienced there. She knew she wanted to capture that essence in an art series. As she began painting, she realized her style needed to evolve. The knowledge and diagrams of the late Lois Hole, a great gardener and author, provided her with guidance to include over 22 recognizable flower varieties, as well as vegetables and succulents. Now, Linda feels she has grown as an artist as well. She hopes you enjoy her series, “Greenhouses and Growth.”

Grosvenor Artists Group

Our artists work in a variety of media including pencil, textiles, acrylics, watercolour, oils, sculpture and photography.  Membership requires only that the artist has a good working knowledge of their chosen medium.  Each of us works at our current artistic area of interest.  Yearly, we pursue a group project or hold a workshop led by an outside artist.  Annually, we have a fall show and sale and a summer garden sale. In May, we participate in the Contemplative Arts Festival held at Grosvenor Park United Church.
The group’s motto is “Together in Art”.  It is clearly exemplified in our growth as artists through a lively exchange of ideas, technical experience and personal encouragement.
