landscape painting class

This class runs on Monday afternoons at 1:00-3:30pm from April 8th to May 6th (5 classes). If this class is full, you may phone us at 306 653 1900 to add your name to a wait list.

In this introduction to landscape painting, students with some experience with the watercolor medium will create several paintings. In the process of learning about landscape elements, students will also explore the concept of working en plein air, review colour theory, and practice elements of composition including cropping, creating a focal point, and working with natural light. Each class will feature critique. discussion and demonstration.

This class is also suitable for other mediums such as acrylic or mixed media.

Please take note: Hues Art Supply reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrolment. A full refund will be returned to you in that case. As per Hues Art Supply cancellation guidelines- if you cancel your registration up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the class, a full refund will be issued to you. 14 days prior to the beginning of the class, should you wish to cancel your registration – we will issue a full in-store credit that you may use for future classes or art materials. 5 days prior to the class, should you decide to cancel, we will issue an in-store credit for 50% of the cost of the class. After the five day deadline, no further refunds will be issued unless the class has been cancelled by Hues Art Supply.
