In this introduction to Landscape painting, students with some experience with the watercolour medium will create several paintings. In the process of learning about landscape elements, students will also explore the concept of plein air painting. They will review colour theory, and practice elements of composition including cropping, creating a focal point, and working with natural light. Students may also choose to work in any preferred medium. Each class will feature critique, discussion and demonstration.
