Castell 9000 pencils have superior leads made of finely ground graphite and clay. These smooth, pure graphite pencils are never scratchy and are great for drawing and sketching. The full length of the lead is glued to the wood casing of the pencil to strengthen the lead and prevent breakage, which allows for better sharpening and produces a fine point. The specialized sets contain pencils in degrees of accurately graded, exclusively formulated leads.

Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils feature thick, soft cores made from brilliant, light-resistant pigments to ensure smooth, rich laydown and color saturation.
The colors are easy to blend, slow to wear, break-resistant, and waterproof. Each 3.8 mm core is enclosed in a round cedar casing that is lacquered to match the core.
Manual sharpening is recommended for Prismacolor colored pencils. Clogging can be prevented in electric sharpeners by periodically sharpening a graphite pencil to keep the blades clean.

TwinTone markers feature a double-ended tip to create thick or thin lines. The .8mm broad bullet tip creates bold lines and the .3mm extra-fine tip creates detailed, precise lines. They are ideal for color-coding and decorating planners, journals and notebooks or doodling and lettering. The water-based ink does not bleed through most papers. The durable fiber-point tips are long lasting and maintain shape after use.

A smooth surface and light sizing makes this paper a favorite with artists and printmakers working in practically every technique. Mold-made, 100% cotton, acid-free and buffered, the sheets have four deckled edges and a registered watermark. Excellent for all hand-printing processes, lithography, intaglio etching, wood engraving, silkscreen, linocut and collotype. They may also be used for embossing and drawing, though they are not recommended for offset printing.
