This French-made, 300gsm (140 lb.) deckle-edge paper is specially formulated for oil painting and is now available in convenient pads. The acid-free paper is ready-to-use and requires no gesso or special preparation. It features a powerful and efficient oil barrier that absorbs water, solvents and binders evenly while allowing paint and pigment to remain on the surface. Less brittle than gessoed paper, it is resistant to chipping or cracking. It is easy to cut, roll, frame, store and transport. The pads have a fold-over cover with interior pages that are glued on the short side.

Cold Press is the most popular texture for watercolour painting. It has a slight texture which comes from the texture of the felt used to press the water out of the paper during production. The texture of watercolour paper may add personality to your art. Watercolours pigments may separate from the water and fall into or fill the bottom dips in the paper texture. This is called granulation. Some colours do this better than others. Test your colours to learn which colour granulates better than others.
This watercolor paper is mold-made of 100% cotton, double-sized, acid-free/neutral pH, chlorine-free with four deckle edges and a watermark. The traditional white shade is produced without the use of optical brighteners. Available in 90 lb. (200gsm), 140 lb. (300gsm) and 300 lb. (640gsm) weights.

This pre stretched paper is great for travel, plein air painting, or working at home. Arches Watercolour is professional grade paper that is cylinder mould-made, 100% cotton, and has a neutral pH. This quality paper is internally and externally tub sized with natural gelatin and contains an antimicrobial agent to help resist mildew. Each block contains 20 sheets of paper.
