Holbein completely re-engineered their acrylic colour line in 2013 to deliver more colour vigor and higher lightfast ratings. The new 113 colour palette consists of colour derived from both Western and Easter influences, specifically designed to add luster, intensity and brilliance to your work. The heavy-body formula has a unique texture similar to that of extra fine oils. It is brushable and will retain any peaks or ridges created in thick applications. Plus it can be thinned with water or Holbein Acrylic Mediums, or scrumbled as thin dry brush layer. Try the new gels to thicken, extend and texture your colour. Use mediums to thin and create watercolour and wet-into-wet techniques using acrylics.

This class runs Monday September 16th to November 18th (8 classes – no class October 14th and November 11th), Monday evenings from 7:00pm – 9:30pm. If this class is full, you may phone us at 306 653 1900 to add your name to a wait list.
This class is designed for people with some painting experience. There will be a still-life set up for those who are interested, but class members may also work from their own imagination, or their own photographs. There will be discussions about colour theory and all the principles of art and design as the class progresses. Degen offers encouragement and practical information, and makes suggestions about the paintings being created.

As per Hues Art Supply cancellation guidelines- if you cancel your registration up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the class, a full refund will be issued to you. 14 days prior to the beginning of the class, should you wish to cancel your registration – we will issue a full in-store credit that you may use for future classes or art materials. 5 days prior to the class, should you decide to cancel, we will issue an in-store credit for 50% of the cost of the class. After the five day deadline, no further refunds will be issued unless the class has been canceled by Hues Art Supply.

This natural white paper is ideally suited for printmaking processes that require a heavier paper such as lithography, intaglio, and screen print. Also suitable for relief printing. This heavy-weight mixed media paper is available in warm tan, cool gray and steel blue and is toned specifically for use with light and dark media.
