Intro to Watercolour, J Bidyk

$300.00

This class runs from April 2nd to May 21st, on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:30pm (8 classes). If this class is full, you may phone us at 306 653 1900 to add your name to a wait list.

The exciting world of watercolour painting can be used to explore colour, mark making, and many drawing & painting techniques. This class is a great introduction to various watercolour approaches, such as flat wash, gradient wash, dry brush, wet on dry, wet on wet, glazing and layering techniques. While exercising watercolour as a medium, we will also be covering fundamental elements of art, including line, volume perspective, texture transparency and colour theory. My goal as the instructor is to create a fun, easy-going environment for learning and to ignite our most creative selves.
