Soft Pastel Sampler with J Kasdorf

This class is all about exploring how to use pastels, including various techniques & tools. No drawing or painting experience needed – this will be a fun class for anyone who either already uses pastels, or someone who has never tried them. You will learn about the differences between surfaces such as suede board, sanded board and various types of sanded paper. For this class you will be using pan pastels along with soft pastels and pastel pencils on a sanded paper. Samples of various surfaces will be available to try out as time permits.
