Gestural Blooms: Acrylic Floral Workshop w/ J. Miller

As we reflect on the past decade of fostering creativity within our community, we are thrilled to embark on a year-long celebration of workshops led by professional Saskatchewan artists who have contributed immensely to our artistic landscape.

Join Jacqueline Miller in this Acrylic Workshop, where a Still Life Floral serves as your muse. Dive into Blind Contour Drawing, embracing intuition for expressive creations. Experiment with Yupo on a Cradled Board, harnessing heavy body paint’s texture and hues. Unleash your creativity in a condensed journey, mastering techniques, and infusing passion into every stroke.

Hues Art Supply reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrolment. A full refund will be returned to you in that case.
As per Hues Art Supply cancellation guidelines- if you cancel your registration up to 30 days prior to the beginning of the class, a full refund will be issued to you. 14 days prior to the beginning of the class, should you wish to cancel your registration – we will issue a full in-store credit that you may use for future classes or art materials. 5 days prior to the class, should you decide to cancel, we will issue an in-store credit for 50% of the cost of the class. After the five day deadline, no further refunds will be issued unless the class has been canceled by Hues Art Supply.

Yupo Paper-Larger than the Cradled Board
Square Cradled Board Size my vary from 6×6 to 10×10
Soft Graphite & One Piece of Charcoal for Blind Contour Drawing
Tape for taping the Yupo
Gel Medium for gluing the Yupo to the Cradled Board(this will be a demo to be completed at home after the paint has time to dry)-Soft, Regular or Heavy would work
Assorted Brushes
Assorted Heavy Body Acrylic Paint such as
Titanium White
Cad Yellow/India Yellow Hue or Orange
Cobalt or Ultramarine Blue
Teal
Cad Red Light/med
Or Titanium White, Primary Yellow, Primary Magenta, Primary Cyan
Optional Spray Bottle with water
