"Painting Through History – Part Two: Impressionism with Degen Lindner

Explore the revolutionary approaches of Impressionist painters including Monet, Renoir, Degas and Pissarro. Through discussion, observation and studio practice, students will discover how these painters captured light, colour and atmosphere while developing their own interpretations.

Materials and Supplies: Students may work in the painting medium of their choice. As individual projects and approaches will vary, there is no prescribed supply list. Students are encouraged to bring their preferred painting materials and surfaces.

Some painting experience is recommended.

Each class in the series stands on its own, and students are welcome to participate without having attended previous classes.
