Michael J. Martin
Join us for the Artist Reception June 6th 2-4pm
This exhibit explores how images can evoke memories of specific events or places. It invites viewers to recall moments when they were so fully present in their surroundings that they felt transported back to those times, reliving those emotions and experiences.
The exhibit blends actual and imagined scenes, using paintings to spark similar memories and emotions within the viewer. It encourages us to be present and appreciate the “here and now.”
Imagine the hustle and bustle at that corner, the tranquillity of a quiet moment spent exploring an abandoned truck in the field, or the serene enjoyment of a solitary seat overlooking a view only you can see.
Which paintings resonate with you? How do they evoke your senses and emotions?
