Curious about pastel but not sure where to begin? This welcoming one-day workshop introduces you to the expressive possibilities of soft pastels hard pastels pastel pencils and PanPastels through two approachable wildlife projects. Working on Pastelmat you will create a duckling and a fox while learning how to layer colour build values create depth and capture realistic fur and feathers.

Your instructor will demonstrate techniques step by step and provide individual guidance throughout the day. Whether you are trying pastel for the first time or looking to strengthen your skills you will leave with two finished artworks practical techniques you can continue using at home and a greater understanding of this versatile medium.

All supplies are provided for use during class. Please bring a bag lunch along with any snacks or beverages you would like to enjoy.
