Overview: Explore the timeless simplicity and beauty of ancient Cycladic sculpture in this three-day clay workshop with Adrian Golban. Participants will study the simplified human forms, balance and elegance characteristic of Cycladic sculpture before creating their own sculptural portrait.
What You'll Explore: Through demonstrations and hands-on instruction, Adrian will guide you through hand-building, proportion, surface treatment and finishing techniques, with an emphasis on simplicity and individual interpretation. Connect an ancient sculptural tradition with contemporary creative practice while developing your understanding of form and working with clay.
