Overview
Watercolour Masking Tape is a low-tack paper tape designed for masking edges, creating clean borders and securing watercolour paper while you work. Its gentle adhesion makes it useful for watercolour, gouache, drawing and other works on paper where a removable tape is needed.
Why Artists Choose It
The smooth paper tape is easy to position and tear by hand, with enough tack to hold securely during painting while allowing for careful removal afterward. Available in three useful widths—15 mm, 20 mm and 30 mm—so you can choose the size that suits your paper, border or project.
How to Use It
Apply to a clean, dry surface and press gently into place. For painted borders, make sure the tape edge is firmly adhered before applying colour. Remove slowly after the artwork is completely dry, pulling the tape back on itself at a low angle to help protect the paper surface.
Sold individually. One roll per package.
