Tri-Art Gesso 500 mL is a professional-quality white acrylic primer designed to prepare canvas wood paper hardboard and other painting surfaces for acrylic and oil painting. Made in Kingston Ontario by Tri-Art Manufacturing this ready-to-use gesso is formulated with 100% acrylic polymer emulsion titanium white pigment and calcium carbonate to create a bright matte surface with excellent adhesion flexibility and absorbency.

How to Use It

Apply one or more thin even coats with a wide brush allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Sand lightly between coats for an ultra-smooth surface or tint with acrylic colours to create custom painting grounds. Suitable for preparing surfaces for both acrylic and oil painting.
