Kama Rectified Turpentine is a traditional artist’s solvent made from distilled gum turpentine. It is used to thin oil colours, modify the consistency of oil painting mediums, and clean brushes and tools.

Rectified turpentine has a strong solvent action and evaporates readily, making it particularly useful during the early stages of an oil painting when leaner, faster-drying applications are desired. It can also be used as an ingredient when preparing traditional oil painting mediums and varnishes.
