The E&M Nibbed Sagittarius Marble Pen is a ready-to-use dip pen from German manufacturer E&M, supplied with an English-made drawing nib already fitted into the holder. The black wooden handle has a slender, tapered shape that provides comfortable control for drawing, writing and working with ink.

Artists use dip pens by dipping the nib directly into ink, allowing the character and weight of the line to respond to changes in pressure, angle and movement. The pen can be used for fine detail, contour drawing, cross-hatching, stippling, expressive line work, lettering and sketching.

The fitted nib is made in England, while the pen holder is made by E&M in Germany. The nib can also be changed, allowing artists to experiment with different line widths and mark-making effects.
