The Sennelier Ink Brush Pen features a brush tip made of real fibers, ensuring a fluid, flowing application of color. The flexible brush tip allows artists to create extremely fine to very wide lines (up to 10mm) with a continuous flow of ink, by simply varying the pressure of the tip on the paper. The ink is pigment based and exclusive to Sennelier; it is environmentally friendly. 24 of the 36 colors are from Sennelier’s La Petite Aquarelle range, allowing watercolorists and illustrators to harmoniously complete the details and highlights of their works in watercolor. Equally suitable for lettering, journaling, painting and watercolor.

In 1887, Gustave Sennelier, a devoted chemist, established himself as a purveyor of fine-artists’ paints at 3 Quai Voltaire facing the Louvre and steps away from l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts.
Having thoroughly researched the history and usage of pigments, he developed a distinctive process for manufacturing oil colours, formulating precise methods for mixing tones and for controlling their opacity and transparency. His work was so meticulous and his eye for colour so accurate that artists soon began to regard the Sennelier palette as the ultimate standard of quality.

Mold-made, 100% cotton, acid-free and buffered, the sheets have four deckled edges and a registered watermark. Excellent for all hand-printing processes, lithography, intaglio etching, wood engraving, silkscreen, linocut and collotype. They may also be used for embossing and drawing, though they are not recommended for offset printing.
