This workshop introduces the process of creating rich blue cyanotype prints using sunlight. You will begin by learning about the origins of cyanotype photography and the types of materials that work best for photogram making. The first day focuses on hands on practice including mixing the chemistry and applying it to both paper and fabric surfaces.
On the second day you will head for a short nature walk to collect leaves and flowers to use in your designs. You will then learn how to expose and develop your own finished cyanotype prints. Space is provided throughout the workshop for questions conversation and shared feedback.
