Collage, Contrast, Composition & Colour with Confidence
This course will introduce some playful ways to approach drawing, painting and mixed media, while reinforcing fundamental art principles of composition and design.
Starting with contrast, we’ll create unique collage papers to build simple compositions, helping you identify what works and where to improve. Gradually introducing complexity, and colour, you’ll explore cropping, masking, and greyscale techniques to refine compositions, monitor progress, and develop confidence in your creative process with curiosity and clarity.
This class is suitable for all levels of creative experience, because the goal is primarily to help you find your own creative voice while building your level of confidence and joy no matter your subiect or choice of media.
