This 5 week course offers introductory techniques and methods with a variety of ink tools. We will explore the expressive capabilities of the ink medium while building upon foundational principles in drawing and painting, including pattern and texture, contour line, light and shadow, and colour dynamics . We will approach a variety of subjects such as landscape, still-life, human and animal portraiture, and abstraction. This course is open to artists of all skill levels who want to develop creatively in a supportive environment where individual expression is highly encouraged.
