This 5 week course offers introductory techniques and methods for exploring the expressive capabilities of the ink and brush medium while building upon foundational principles and techniques in drawing and painting, including line and pattern, colour layering, and various brush applications. We will approach a variety of subjects such as landscape, still-life, portraiture, and abstraction. This course is open to artists of all skill levels who want to develop creatively in a supportive environment where individual expression is highly encouraged. uf
